About me...
Hi, my name is Sandy. I'm a designer / illustrator / put stuff together-er with all kinds of different interests, design related and not. I just moved back to Montreal from Toronto, where I spent 3 lucky years in the gorgeous gorgeous neighbourhood of Parkdale. To some, I am known as the Parkdale Poster Lady, to others I am known as the lady with the crazy dog, Ernest, and the charming husband Sylvain.
In the past few years I have been doing design and production for all kinds of different companies and clients. Some of the many things I have worked on are :
— lots and lots of packaging (food, bath, music...)
— working at a newspaper doing layout and production coordination
— designing socks for Capelli New York (I even designed a sock with my dog on it!)
— design and illustration for Hostelling International ( poster campaigns, annual reports )
— Interactive PDF menus for Inter Continental Hotel, NYC
— book and catalogue layout for Scholastic Books Canada
— freelance agency gigs including: Marshall Fenn Communications, GWP, Blueband Media
— lots of design for artists and musicians
